The week of January 23, 2024 we launched 5 plates (which commemorated our 100th anniversary) into the community hoping for people to receive and offer 150 acts of love by June 1, 2024! Each plate symbolizes a series of loving deeds orginating from Compass Community Church (Boyne City United Methodist Church) in honor of our 150 year anniversary. If you receive a plate, please pass it on “filled” with an act of love such as shoveling a driveway, visiting a neighbor, hand delivering a card, or baking a treat and record your deed and the date performed in the notebook. Our hope is that the recipient will repeat the process and offer an act of love to someone else.
